A resident of Linden, Marcia is a physical therapist who has worked in home health since the 1990s. In addition to her masters degree in physical therapy from Andrews University, she was an ACSM-certified personal trainer and has advanced training in myofascial release (the most effective treatment for chronic muscloskeletal pain). Marcia is a former EMT and currently volunteers with the Perry County Rescue Squad.
Jean was born and raised in McEwen, just outside of Waverly. After graduating from nursing school at Belmont University, Jean worked as an ICU nurse before embarking on a 50 year career in home health. She has owned and operated home health care companies in both Tennessee and Alabama, started home health care agencies for rural hospitals across the southeast, and served as an executive for a large home health management company in Nashville. Jean is thrilled to be back home.
Matt is an advanced practice registered nurse (with prescriptive authority) with additional training in geriatric medicine from Vanderbilt/Meharry and wound care at NYU Langone Hospital in New York City. Originally from Overton County (TN), he has been in home health for 20 years and has taught courses on home health nursing across the US, in Asia, and in Europe. Matt is board certified as an adult health clinical nurse specialist; he has served as a board member for the Tennessee Association for Home Care and the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
A mother of five, Elizabeth was born and raised in Linden. Prior to graduating from Tennessee Technology Center Hohenwald, she maintained an active practice as a perinatal doula and previously worked with the Perry County Chamber of Commerce. When she's not helping patients, Elizabeth can often be found on the football field or the dance studio.
